About the Scholarship
- The Scottish Government, in collaboration with Glasgow Caledonian University, is supporting and funding these scholarships.
- In addition to their course of study, scholars will be asked to participate in a variety of activities during the academic year, including welcome and end-of-year events, as well as promotion of Scotland and Scottish Higher Education.
- Candidates must have a conditional or unconditional offer of a seat at GCU in order to apply for a Saltire Scholarship.

Eligibility
- Have a conditional or unconditional offer of a place on a qualifying degree at a Scottish institution, which will be offered physically in Scotland, online, or a combination of both.
- Be a citizen of Canada, India, Japan, the United States of America, Pakistan, or China (Hong Kong citizens are also eligible as it is a Special Administrative Region of China).
- Be able to show that they can afford to pay for living expenses in Scotland (if applicable) as well as the remaining tuition fees.
- I've never studied in Scotland before.
- You must not have received a Saltire Scholarship in the past.
- Meet the course's language requirements.
- Fill out an application and return it by the deadline.
Application Process
- Any international student who is a citizen of one of the countries listed below and has been offered a conditional or unconditional place at GCU on an eligible course that will be delivered physically in Scotland, via distance online learning, or a combination of the two, but must be a full-time program.

- Not having completed a full undergraduate degree in Scotland earlier.
