- To encourage leadership by recognizing and awarding faculty and staff with good character and high standards who have excelled in service to the University.
- To promote leadership by emphasizing its critical importance to the future of public higher education in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- To honor University service by encouraging discourse across university campuses about their shared mission and fostering collaboration on their common aims.
Application Process
- Preliminary information should be entered into the online form.
- In a word document, answer the following three questions (make sure to include your name, title, campus, and email address):
- Tell the committee why you should be chosen for the Zuckerberg Award in 2022, based on Roy Zuckerberg's vision of leadership and the award criteria outlined above.
- How will the award money help you support your research, teaching, and/or service if you are chosen?
- What are the expected outcomes of the award-winning activities?
- Email the Word document and your CV to Zuckerberg_Leadership@umassp.edu.
- Applications exceeding 5 pages will not be considered.
- Please do not provide letters of support.
