Scholarship amount details
- Each year, two fellowships worth up to $1,500 are awarded: one to an AFM student entering Year Three and the other to an AFM student starting Year Four.
- The fellowship is awarded on the basis of academic achievement as well as contributions and participation in extracurricular activities.
- For one of their two terms, each recipient will be required to provide a maximum of eight hours per week of teaching/research assistance to Faculty.
- The recipient will choose the term at his or her own discretion. Faculty members will be assigned fellows based on their requests for teaching and research help for a certain term. During the 2B/3B terms, applications should be sent to the Student Awards Office.
Eligibility
- A minimum of 80% total participation in extracurricular activities was demonstrated.
- This fellowship cannot be combined with any other major Waterloo grant (e.g., School of Accounting and Finance Fellowship)
Application Process
- We are only accepting applications for awards having a Spring deadline at this time (May-August).
- By the start of the following term, the application for awards with deadlines in the following term will be accessible - please check back later.
- Fill out a new application for each prize for which you want to be considered.
