• Each year, an AFM student entering their third year and an AFM student entering their fourth year will each receive a fellowship worth up to $1,500. 
• The fellowship is awarded for academic achievement, community service, and participation in extracurricular activities. 
• For one of their two terms, each grantee will be expected to assist faculty with teaching or research for a maximum of eight hours per week. 
• The recipient will have the option of choosing the phrase. Depending on the faculty members' requests for teaching or research help for a particular term, fellows will be assigned to those faculty members. 
• During the 2B/3B terms, applications should be delivered to the Student Awards Office.

Annually, two fellowships are awarded.

• minimum 80% overall average
• demonstrated involvement in extracurricular activities

this fellowship may not be held in conjunction with another major Waterloo award (e.g., School of Accounting and Finance Fellowship)

• Complete the applicable term Undergraduate Award Application
