• This scholarship has been established by Robbert Hartog who founded and was chair and CEO of Waltec Incorporated. He has actively promoted the growth and development of Canadian industry through his involvement with the Industrial Research and Development Institute (IRDI).

• Robbert Hartog Graduate Scholarship, at the University of Waterloo, is available for both domestic and international students. The scholarship is granted to the students doing the PG program in Mechanical & Mechatronics Engineering. However, only those who hold an Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS) are eligible for this scholarship.
• Robbert Hartog Graduate Scholarship is one of the most famous post-graduate scholarships in Canada for international students. For more information about this award, the students are advised to get in touch with the Department Graduate Co-ordinators for the same.

The Robbert Hartog Graduate Scholarship aims to promote research in materials or material shaping in the Department of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering. To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must:

• Must hold an Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS)
• Pursuing research in materials or material shaping in the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
• beginning a full-time research-based graduate degree program at the University of Waterloo in the Fall.
• be a Canadian resident or international student with a study permit visa.

• The University of Waterloo Robbert Hartog Graduate Scholarship does NOT require any separate application form. Eligible applicants are automatically considered for the scholarship.
