The Ritchie-Jennings Memorial Scholarship gives students the chance to grow in their academic careers and anti-fraud professions.
Additionally, by offering a full year of ACFE membership, it helps their anti-fraud goals. $10,000, $5,000, $2,500, and $1,000 in award sums are paid directly to the recipient's college or university.
History
The scholarship programme was started in 1992 to give students who had proven themselves in studies relating to fraud opportunity.
To honour ACFE members Larry Jennings, CFE, and Tracy Ritchie, CFE, the scholarship programme was renamed the Ritchie-Jennings Memorial Scholarship in 1998. On November 14, 1997, two males were among the five persons killed during terrorist assaults in Karachi, Pakistan.
