The Rhodes Scholarship is a postgraduate scholarship that allows outstanding candidates from all around the world to study at Oxford University.
The Rhodes Scholarship is the most renowned and oldest (first given in 1902) international scholarship programme.
The goal of the scholarship is to develop public-spirited leaders for the future of the planet.
Each year, 95 excellent young women and men from 20 Rhodes constituencies (64 countries) around the world are awarded the Scholarship. Rhodes Scholars study at the world-class University of Oxford, which is ranked #1 internationally in the Times Higher Education rankings 2017.

Eligibility
Before arriving to Oxford, Rhodes Scholars must have finished a Bachelor's degree of sufficient quality to meet both the Rhodes and the Oxford standards. Criteria of Rhodes:
PIO or OCI card holders are not eligible; applicants must be Indian citizens with an Indian passport or comparable proof of citizenship.
Applicant must have attended a formal educational institution in India for at least four of the previous ten years, and have either I finished a school leaving test (10th or 12th grade) in India, or (ii) received, or be in the final year of, an undergraduate degree at an Indian university.
