Eligibility

  • Before arriving to Oxford, Rhodes Scholars must have finished a Bachelor's degree of sufficient quality to meet both the Rhodes and the Oxford standards.
    Criteria of Rhodes:
  • PIO or OCI card holders are not eligible; applicants must be Indian citizens with an Indian passport or comparable proof of citizenship.
  • Applicant must have attended a formal educational institution in India for at least four of the previous ten years, and have either I finished a school leaving test (10th or 12th grade) in India, or (ii) received, or be in the final year of, an undergraduate degree at an Indian university.
