Mr. Dan Dodge, creator of QNX Software Systems, established the QNX Graduate Scholarships to provide graduate students with experiences similar to those he enjoyed as an undergraduate and graduate student at the University of Waterloo.

Vary up to $5,000 for one complete grant paid over three academic semesters.

• Citizenship: Permanent residents/Canadian, International students on Canada student visa.
• Enrolling for master’s or doctoral level programs in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics. Eligible programs:
  • Architecture
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Civil Environmental Engineering
  • Mechanical & Mechatronics Engineering
  • Electrical & Computer Engineering
  • Management Sciences
  • Systems Design Engineering
  • Physics
  • Astronomy
  • Computer Science
• Applicants must be applying for the Fall term of the University of Waterloo.

The University of Waterloo doesn’t have any additional application process for the QNX Graduate Scholarship. Applicants who fulfill the scholarship eligibility criteria and have secured admission at the University of Waterloo will be automatically considered for the award.

Applicants must note this entire process will be administered by  Waterloo’s Faculty of Mathematics, the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Science, the Department of Physics, and the School of Computer Science.
