The following courses at Iowa State University in the United States are eligible for this award.

• Business Administration Master's Degree
• Mechanical Engineering Master's Degree

The award is open to all undergraduate and graduate degrees.

Students enrolled in:

• Optional Practical Training (OPT)
• Post-Completion Academic Training (AT)
• Intensive English and Orientation Program (IEOP) are not eligible for a scholarship. 

The International Students and Scholars Office awards scholarships to degree-seeking students with documented financial needs. International Student Tuition accounts for a substantial amount of the scholarship funding.
