• Every year, Newcastle University gives a number of scholarships to high-achieving international students wishing to pursue an undergraduate degree.
•  The scholarships will be applied to the student's fee account, lowering the overall cost of tuition.

• The scholarship provides a full tuition refund.

Applicants for the 50% scholarships must meet the following requirements:

• Applicants must be citizens of one of the following countries to be considered for awards: India, Kenya, Malaysia, South Africa, Tanzania, Turkey, or the United States.
• After being given a place to study on their chosen qualifying undergraduate degree programme at the University's Newcastle city centre campus for the 2021/22 academic year and being evaluated as international for fees purposes, a candidate can apply and be considered for a scholarship. Applications will not be considered unless they meet these two requirements. Students who are pursuing a postgraduate degree, studying abroad, pursuing a research degree, or participating in an exchange programme are not eligible to apply for prizes. Applicants for the Medicine MB BS and Dental Surgery BDS programmes are ineligible for rewards.
• Scholarships are awarded based on academic merit and other information submitted on the Scholarship application form. Applicants must have or anticipate to have an ABB at A level or equivalent to be considered for rewards. The applicants chosen for the rewards will be evaluated based on their academic abilities, commitment to studies, and application quality, and they may be contacted for additional information.
