To be eligible for the alumni discount, you must be:

•  Applying for/intending to study for a degree-awarding undergraduate programme at Newcastle University. 
• The majority of programmes of study qualify for the award, but please check the exceptions list below.
•  A graduate of Newcastle University. 
• That is, you must have qualified (or be due to qualify) on a full undergraduate or postgraduate degree (eg a BA, BSc, BEng, LLB, MA, MSc, MPhil, PhD, MLitt, MEd, MEng, MChem, MMath). 
• Wholly or partially self-financing for the tuition fee element of your programme.

Application process

• Applicant must provide the following information in the university's postgraduate applicant portal:
  
  • Detail for applicant's current/previous study at the University
  • Applicant must attach a copy of the previous qualification from the University if applicant has
  • Applicant should ensure that postgraduate application is processed using previous student number

Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship when they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. No separate application is needed.
