Eligibility
A student must be in their first year of a Master's degree programme.
In chosen tax courses during an undergraduate degree, a student must receive a grade of 90 percent or above.
This award may be considered for students enrolled to the full-time stream of the Master of Taxation programme who have earned a four-year honours undergraduate degree within the last five school years.
As part of their degree requirements, students must have completed two advanced-level tax courses. The advanced level tax courses will typically be a third year personal tax course and a fourth year corporate tax course that meet the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario's (ICAO) 51 credit-hour requirement.
These courses will most likely be taken as part of a student's undergraduate degree requirements and should be half-credit, 12-week classroom courses (not online learning).
Application Process
When students enrol for the courses for which this scholarship is available, they will be automatically considered for it. There is no need for a separate application.
