• This fund is made available by a Microsoft grant in honour of Lijiang Fang, BMath and MMath, who received an Outstanding Technical Achievement Award from Microsoft for his efforts with his team at his company.

Up to two $5,000 scholarships are available.

• This award is available to students participating in Year One of the Master's (thesis option) programme in the David R. Cheriton School of Computer Science in the Faculty of Mathematics who have achieved academic distinction (minimum 80 percent cumulative average).

• There is no requirement for a specific document.
• The application procedure is as follows: Faculty/Department will choose a candidate for you automatically.
