About the Scholarship
An annual award of $4000 is given to a graduate student enrolled in the Faculty of Engineering's Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering Master's of Engineering (MEng), Master of Applied Science (MAS c), or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program in Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering on the basis of academic achievement (minimum 80 percent) combined with a demonstrated interest in and involvement in fire safety research.
Students who are not currently engaged in the fire safety profession will be given priority.

Scholarship amount details
Eligibility
Full-time graduate students enrolled in the Faculty of Engineering's Master of Engineering in Fire Safety program, or in the Faculty of Engineering's MAS c or PhD program, attending fire safety courses and conducting research in the field of fire safety.
Application Process
Interested candidates should submit an application (docx) (Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering website) to the Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering Department/Program Graduate Co-ordinator by September 30.
