About the Scholarship
- The Jane M. Klausman (JMK) Women in Business Scholarship programme enables women pursue undergraduate and master's degrees in business management and overcome gender barriers from the classroom to the boardroom because Zonta International believes in gender equality.
- In 1998, the Zonta Foundation for Women offered the first Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarships to women pursuing business degrees with a goal of working in management.
- Jane M. Klausman was a member of the Syracuse Zonta Club and the Zonta International Parliamentarian from 1990 to 1995. Ms. Klausman worked as a professional secretary, legislator, and entrepreneur throughout her career.

Eligibility
- Women of any age pursuing a business programme at an accredited university/college/institute with a major field of specialization in accounting, economics, finance, business management, business technology, information technology, marketing, operations management, human resources management, international business, or entrepreneurship and living or studying in a Zonta district/region are eligible.
- If enrolled at an approved university/college/institute, online students are also allowed to apply.
- At the time the application is submitted to the local Zonta club, students must be enrolled in at least the second year of an undergraduate programme or the final year of a master's degree.
- Applicants must be enrolled in school at the time of awarding and must not graduate before April 2023.
- Previous Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship recipients are not eligible to apply for a second year of the scholarship.
Application Process
- By the deadline specified on the application, all application materials must be received at the Zonta club.
- Applicants from geographic locations within a Zonta district/region where there are no clubs are eligible to apply for foreign scholarships through a Zonta district/region.
