• We're interested in why you want to study at ARU, your career ambitions, work experience, and related activities you do outside of your studies, in addition to academic achievement. When you apply for the scholarship, we'll ask you to write a brief supporting statement.

To be considered for our International Excellence Scholarship, you must accept your offer from ARU and meet the following criteria:

• An overseas student starting a three-year bachelor's degree or a postgraduate taught degree (including our PG Dip Legal Practice Course) full-time at our Cambridge or Chelmsford campuses in January or September 2022, unless exceptional circumstances prevent full-time study.
  ABB or above grades at A-level are required for undergraduate students (or equivalent). Students pursuing a postgraduate degree should have a 2:1 or higher (or equivalent).
• Degree apprenticeships, foundation degrees, distance learning or work-based degrees, Postgraduate Certificates, Postgraduate Diplomas, students applying to ARU College, and students enrolling in a Master's programme with credit are all exempt.

• Fill out our application form and include a 500-word supporting statement that explains why you are qualified for this scholarship.
• You'll also have to provide supporting documentation, such as proof of extracurricular activity. This will mostly certainly be a certificate or letter from a senior member of the organization(s) with which you've worked.
