Scholarship amount details
- The scholarship is worth £2,000 for the first year of study only. Payment will be made in two installments, normally in February and May by bank transfer.
- You must open a UK bank account and we will contact you by email before each payment date to request that you enter your bank details into My Essex so payment can be made.
Eligibility
- Have received an offer of admission for entry to the University of Essex for 2022-23; Have registered for a full-time undergraduate degree1 at the University of Essex with the first enrolment at the University of Essex in 2022-23; be in your first year of study at the University at the start of the award.
- Have obtained 34 points or above in the International Baccalaureate.
- Successful applicants should be available for promotional activities
Application Process
- If you meet all the eligibility criteria you will be automatically considered for the bursary. You don’t need to complete an application form.
- Successful applicants will be notified via their Essex email account by November 2022.
