About the Scholarship
- The Graduate Incentive Award (GIA) is a university-funded award that pays all or a portion of the tuition and fees for full- or part-time students.
- The hiring programme provides written offers of scholarship grants that include details about the value and length of the award as well as the offer's parameters.
- For each semester they are receiving support, students receiving a GIA must be enrolled in at least the number of graduate credits it covers.
- The GIA does not need any service because it is for graduate students who are not graduate assistants.
- Tuition and other costs will be charged to students who have more than 18 credits registered for a semester on a per-credit-hour basis.
