• Graduate College Fellowship funding (cash awards) is distributed by the Graduate College to academic college deans as block grants to recruit and retain exceptional international and domestic graduate students. 
• Academic college deans distribute funds to particular academic divisions or hold funds centrally to grant qualifying University of Arizona graduate students seeking a degree.

The amount for the scholarship varies between 1000 - 2500

• Admitted to a graduate degree granting academic unit at the UA (Certificate only, Arizona Online and MD only students are not eligible),
• In good academic standing, and
• Have an admitting or cumulative graduate GPA of 3.0 or higher.

• To apply successfully, the student must fill out the online application, pay the application money, and submit it. Next, confirm that all required transcripts, evidence of degrees, test scores, letters of recommendation, and other documents have been sent to the department with which you plan to study. Then, wait for the Graduate College to make an official admission decision.
• The department to which you apply makes the decision to recommend or deny you. Following the department's recommendation for admission, the Graduate College will conduct a quality control check on your file. The Graduate College will send you an official notification of your acceptance or rejection.
