Scholarship amount details
- The Global Scholarship provides $4,000 per year ($2,000 per semester) to each eligible undergraduate freshman or transfer student.
- The Global Scholarship is available to incoming freshman for up to eight semesters.
- Depending on the number of credits transferred to Kent State, transfer students may receive the Global Scholarship for up to eight semesters.
Eligibility
- A new international UNDERGRADUATE student
- The Global Scholarship is open to freshmen, transfers, ESL students, and visiting students.
- Current students and graduates are not eligible.
- Only F visa holders are eligible.
- The Global Scholarship is not available to in-state students.
- The Global Scholarship is only available to students who attend the Kent campus.
Application Process
- Upon acceptance to the university, students will be automatically considered for the scholarship.
