• Scholarships are awarded by the International Students and Scholars Office to degree-seeking students who have demonstrated financial need. International Student Tuition accounts for a substantial amount of the scholarship funding.

• Applicants who have been at ISU in current degree-seeking program for one full academic year and achieved a minimum GPA of 2.5 are eligible

Preference will be given to following candidates:

• are employed on campus (not on assistantship) and involved in student activities

Documents:

• Applicants are required to submit a letter explaining their financial need and how they will use the scholarship funds (500-word maximum)

Application Process:

• ISSO will send an e-mail each semester to students when they are able to apply for the ISSO scholarships (Fall: mid-September and Spring: mid-February). During the application submission timeframe, students may submit their scholarship application in Cystart.
• This scholarship needs a separate external application.
