• Graduate student scholarships will be supported by the interest from this fund. Finalists will be chosen by the departments by August 31. Scholarships are typically given out at the start of the fall semester. These scholarships will be given to excellent doctoral or master's level graduate students. 
• The Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS), the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSER and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council are examples of major external scholarships that are not permitted to be held concurrently with this fund. 
• Students supported by this fund must be enrolled full-time in graduate programs, be within their permitted time limits, and not hold any other major scholarships (SSHRC). The number and value of awards may change from year to year.
