• Students studying electrical, computer, software, and cyber security engineering receive over $250,000 in scholarships each year from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. 
• The department offers close to 50 distinct scholarship funds that have been generously donated by individuals and business benefactors. 
• Each year, the College of Engineering also gives merit scholarships to existing students and scholarships to new students.
• Students must annually submit a scholarship application to the College of Engineering in order to be considered for all electrical and computer engineering as well as College of Engineering scholarships. 
• The application is usually made available in December and must be submitted to the college by the beginning of February.

• Incoming freshmen and transfer students are eligible. 
• Students who have participated in FIRST are given special consideration.
• An IELTS score of at least 6.5 with no sub scores below 6
• A minimum TOEFL score of 80 and no sub scores below 17 in IELTS
