• Annually, a female student entering Year 4 of an Honours programme in which women are currently underrepresented receives this award.
• Students studying Physics and/or Chemistry at the Faculty of Science will be given priority.
• Most Engineering programmes, Mathematics programmes, and Economics programmes are available as well, however, they are subject to change as the student population changes.

• Success in the classroom (minimum 80 percent overall average)
• Showed interest in and dedication to a field in which women are currently underrepresented.
• Only open to female students
