Eligibility
- All prospective overseas undergraduate and graduate students admitted to the first year of their programme in any
- Faculty at Waterloo are eligible for these grants, with priority given to students enrolled in thesis-based programmes.
- Only international students whose tuition expenses have been assessed as international student tuition fees are eligible.
- International students who have received an entrance average of at least 80% will be considered.
- Students who receive significant financial aid (i.e., more than $7,000 per year for undergraduates or $20,000 per year for graduate students, excluding IMSA and IDSA money) are normally ineligible for this grant.
Application Process
- Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship when they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. No separate application is needed.
