Eligibility

  • A first-class or strong upper-second-class undergraduate degree with honor in psychology or a similar field is required.
    Individual grades on student transcripts, evidence of previous university accolades or awards, information on the applicant's overall standing within their cohort, and publications are all possible markers of strong academic achievement (if applicable)
  • IELTS: 7.5, with a minimum of 7.0 in each section.
    Interview: In most cases, interviews are done as part of the admissions process. Late January or early February is when most interviews take place. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to Oxford for an interview, or if they are unable to attend, will be interviewed via Skype (with video)
  • Applicants who have completed a full-time degree-level course for at least nine months at a reputed institute, where the medium of instruction is English.

Application Process

  • LOR: Three references (academic and/or professional) are necessary.
    A personal statement of up to 1000 words is required. It will be judged on the following criteria:
    motivation to study the themes covered by the MSc and perform independent research based on past experience with psychological research
    theoretical, methodological, and statistical issues are all issues that need to be understood.
    the suitability of career plans
    comprehension of the course's goals and content in connection to these career goals
  • A CV is a one- to two-page document that highlights academic achievements as well as any relevant professional experience.
     
  • Official transcripts are available here. A verified translation should be included with any transcript that is not in English.
    Other documents include proof of past university accolades or awards, information about the applicant's overall rank within the cohort, and publications (if applicable)
