Scholarship amount details

The value of the scholarship covers: university tuition fees and a monthly stipend Costs of travel to and from the United Kingdom a refundable deposit a stipend for returning home a travel grant to attend Chevening events in the UK the cost of one visa application.

Eligibility

Citizenship of a Chevening-eligible nation or territory is required.
Have fulfilled all requirements for a bachelor's degree. In the United Kingdom, this is often equivalent to an upper second-class 2:1 honours degree.
Have at least two years of work experience (equal to 2,800 hours). The following are examples of work experience:
Employed full-time
Employed part-time
Volunteering
Internships can be paid or unpaid.

Application Process

Reference letters are strongly suggested. Referees should be those who can comment on an applicant's overall suitability for a Chevening Award. Referees should be familiar with the candidate, either academically or professionally. They should not be a family member or a close friend. The following should be included in the reference:

Your contact information (address, email, and phone number)
How long have you been acquainted with the applicant?
What is your relationship with the applicant? (For example, professional, educational, supervisory, volunteer, religious, and so on.)
When was the last time you spoke with the candidate on a regular basis?
A concise summary of the applicant's qualifications, including:
Leadership and networking abilities
Qualities that are personal, intellectual, and interpersonal
Ability to complete a rigorous academic programme in the United Kingdom
