• Darden's Batten Institute sponsors and administers the Batten Scholars Program, which provides full-tuition scholarships to students admitted to Darden's two-year, full-time MBA programme.
• The two-year, full-time MBA programme at Darden is supported by a number of full-tuition scholarships through the Batten Scholars Program, which is sponsored and run by the Batten Institute. 
• Fee waivers for Batten Institute-sponsored programmes and counsellors to assist recipients in pursuing their goals are additional perks.
• The Batten Institute's entrepreneurship and innovation objectives must be met by all applicants to the programme, who must also have an entrepreneurial spirit, strong leadership abilities, and a passion for innovation.

• A full scholarship will be awarded to the student who can see opportunity from a mile away. 
• Candidates must submit a 500-word essay as part of their Darden application to be considered. 

The essay will be used by high-potential candidates to describe:

1. Evidence of having led or assisted in the formation of a new business
2. A appealing and believable strategy for future business ventures
3. Your place among the Batten Scholars and Darden communities is unmistakable.
4. How would you make a difference in the Darden Community as a whole?

• When students enroll for the courses for which this scholarship is available, they will be automatically considered for it.
• There is no need for a separate application.
