I would like to speak about my sister's wedding. I took a main part in organizing everything. I actually came 10 days before the wedding so I could help my parents in organizing everything. On the day of the wedding, we received our guests and I actually arranged all the food for them. Moreover, I also took care of the rooms and everything for them. Consequently, we also received our in-laws at the wedding ceremony and arranged their rooms and also their food. Moreover, when it comes to the events, I came up with a lot of ideas to make the wedding more fun. We added a few games in the wedding and also I arranged the mehendi session and sangeet. I personally went and selected the songs so that they would dance and have a lot of fun. At the end of the wedding, that is mainly during the reception, I personally took care of the gifts and stored them properly so my sister could open them later. And also, I arranged the food for my sister and my brother-in-law. I am the one who ate at the last. Overall, it was a good experience and I am very happy that I took a vital part in it.

Hi, the happy moment or the successful event that I have organized in my lifetime was organizing a birthday party for my mother and I feel it's so special because those are the times which I can reflect my love towards her. I prepared it with a group of people of my neighbors and it was a very successful event. By the end of the day, I could see the happiness on my mom's face. So I feel that that is a successful and special moment to me which is close to my heart. And celebrating birthdays are a happy day in everyday's life because it's only a one day in 365 days where we get some time for ourselves and the time to spend with our close people or showcase or give our love towards them and getting preparations to be done for them. All that together, I felt so much engaged and involved in doing so.

Follow up questions

What specific preparations did you make for your mother's birthday party?
I planned the decorations, organized the food, and arranged for entertainment. I also coordinated with my neighbors to help set everything up and ensure that my mom would be surprised. We made sure to include her favorite dishes and created a warm, festive atmosphere.

How did you feel when you saw your mother's happiness at the event?
Seeing my mother's happiness filled me with joy and satisfaction. It was rewarding to know that all the effort we put into the party paid off. Her smile and laughter made all the hard work worthwhile, and it reminded me of the importance of family and love.

Have you organized any other events since then? How did they compare?
Yes, I have organized a few other events, like family gatherings and friends' parties. While they were enjoyable, none felt as special as my mother's birthday. Each event has its unique charm, but that particular day holds a special place in my heart due to the emotional connection.

Answer

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

So, one of the events which come into my mind when I think was a successful was the reunion that we have organized in our college for us first batch of seniors that have passed out from that college. So, I was part of the club called Mahindra University alumni relations where we organized a reunion for the seniors who were passed out in 2018 and it was such a successful event because all the seniors had connected, reconnected with the professors and gave a huge impact on… What the fuck am I talking? I was part of this club in my college called Mahindra University alumni relationship committee. So, in that we have organized several events which were quite successful, but one event that stands out in my memory is a reunion that we have organized for our first passed out seniors who have passed out of the college in the year 2018. So, it was a memorable event because I was the head of the designing and the logistics group. From designing every part of the invitation and sending it out to the seniors to help with their accommodations, hospitality, getting the relevant permissions for them to stay in the college. It was all quite a hard work that we have done and for a quite long time. Me along with my team were very grateful for that opportunity because it gave us a chance to connect with the seniors, learn through their experiences, know the do's and don'ts after we graduate and also it was… I call it successful because even the seniors walked down their memory lane and they actually reconnected with the professors, they shared their experiences, they got beautiful insights from the professors and the dean academics and they enjoyed the ongoing fest of our college which was the technical fest and they participated in various of them. We have conducted various games to help us bond with each other and it was such a great event and everyone thanked us for it. We also gave them tote bags with the memories that they can take back from this experience and looking at them, it made us realize that…

So, I have arranged my dog's second birthday on January 2nd, 2021, when I got him for the first time in May 2020 and this is the first dog I have ever owned after I have asked my parents for a dog for more than 8 years. So, this was a very special occasion for me and it was also a bit challenging since I have never really planned a dog's birthday. I mean, it is easier to plan birthdays for humans as it is quite a standard setting of birthdays. But when it involves dogs, then it has to be a certain set of dogs, only the ones that he would get along with. So, he is friendly but he is not very friendly if it is a dog that is unknown to him. He is great with his friends that he has been with since he was a baby, a puppy. So, we have arranged all of this on a terrace with lawn, the terrace of our building. So, we had invited all his friends. We arranged a dog cake. I also prepared small cupcakes that were purely for dogs. Also, we got small gifts as a special token as a thank you for getting your dog to the party. There were lots of treats arranged. There were lots of fun activities arranged for the dogs that were invited to the party. It was a bit of a chaos but it was great.
