When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

I learnt cooking during my childhood. I learnt it from my mother. I remember I used to sit on this lap when I was a kid and watch her cook. I just loved the meal cooked by my mother. So I really wish to learn cooking from her simply because I cannot survive on food made by anyone else. Once our family was going through a financial crisis and my mother used to work two shifts at the workplace. So that's when I remember I put my learnings into practice. When my mother used to return from work, I used to prepare food alone and serve her hot and fresh food. So I think it's the basic requirement and livelihood that everyone must learn since I will be moving abroad in a few months. I think I have already learnt cooking so I don't need to rely on outside food and my cost will be saved over there.

The skill that I have learned in my childhood is Karate. I learned Karate when I was very small, when I was in my third grade. My dad told me to learn and my mom influenced and advised me to learn Karate because during those days it was very hard for a girl to leave because so many rapes were happening. And as a self-defense my mom thought that my two daughters should learn Karate as a self-defense. And as a girl in India, and India being a democratic country, it is very highly recommended to girls to learn Karate. So my mom decided for me to learn Karate. And as a girl even I would advise everyone to learn Karate because it is the art of self-defense. It is the art of self-defense and everyone should learn because you never know what will happen in your life. And not only self-defense but also it is the art of keeping yourself healthy. It is the art of keeping yourself healthy and it is the disciplined life that you are living because there are so many people who don't know what is the art of Karate, who don't know what is the form of Karate. They just think it is something that people should learn but then they never know the real meaning of Karate. If you have actually been through, then you will always know and you will always know your hard work, what you have been through. But then if there is someone else, they are never going to know.

One skill that I learnt in my childhood was cycling. I learnt it when I was 4 years old. It was taught to me by my grandfather who is unfortunately no more. I, as a student, most of them learnt cycling during their early childhood. It was just like all sorts of fun and games and a time to leisure on. Cycling was also one of my hobbies. I loved cycling around. I used to go to the bus stop and just cycle around with my grandparents. Cycling has lots of memories associated with me. I came from a place with lush and greenery so cycling made it very more relaxing for me. I still love cycling and I practice or I just do it to date. It is really close to my heart and one reason why it is really necessary is because... One skill that I learnt or enjoyed in my childhood was cycling. I learnt it when I was 4 years old. It was taught to me by my grandfather after many falls. Everyone in my school and neighborhood started cycling around the same age. It was all fun to cycle around with my friends and just pass time after the school. I used to practice it with my grandfather mostly. He used to walk alongside and I used to just cycle around with him. At times I also took long rides from my house to any neighbor's house or the bus stop near me. But in a road which was less traffic or had not much of people. I developed this skill when I was around 12-13 years during my teenage. After 4-5 years of cycling, I started cycling fast. I used to go cycle, get groceries or help people or just meet my friends out there. It was really fun and it was a past time for me. One important fact that I would like to tell... One skill that I learnt during my childhood was cycling. I loved cycling as a child. It was taught to me by my grandfather when I was around 4 years old. I was not able to pick up cycling really quickly. It took me lots of efforts and falls to be a good cycle rider. I usually cycled to meet my friends or to relax or to just hang out with them after my school. I usually practiced after my school or during my vacation time. The first time I practiced was during my summer holidays from my LKG. I used to cycle alongside my grandparents who took a stroll or walk around. I used to go to the bus stop nearby. But as I grew older, I was able to ride cycle in a much more faster pace. I would also get groceries for the house when needed. I went out to meet more of my friends and I even went a longer distance. One lasted impact cycling had on me was the skill to overcome fear. I fell a lot during my cycle training sessions. But it never stopped me from learning cycling. It rather fascinated me and always gave me the courage. Due to my grandfather's support, I was able to cycle more. It also made me realize the importance of cycling. Now I can drive a scooter or any other vehicle. It's mainly because of the confidence I got from my cycling experience. It is a skill that I still to date like and I still follow and I would love doing it again.

Well, there are lots of skills that I have learnt in my childhood, but today specifically I would like to talk about a skill that I have particularly learnt from my mother in my childhood, that is none other than cooking simple meals. I was around 10 years old when I first got interested in cooking. So I was just seeing my mother, how she is doing all the things, all the time, when she used to cook, I all the time just stand by her and seeing how she is doing with the spices and dishes, how she is doing mixing and all. So first I have learnt some small things like how I can boil eggs, how I can make instant noodles and maggi, but after that with the passage of time I have inculcated a habit of making daily particular dishes which inculcate in me a value with regards to meals. So being a girl, meals are the one, cooking is the one particular skill that a person need in future.

I believe that I've been brought up quite well by my parents and they have taught me a lot of well manners and skills but one thing that I would say really helped me and still counts is patience. It might be a very common one but it is an integral one. I learnt it not the easy way. I was always keen on knowing things and getting to happen them very quickly but my parents taught me that things that you want do not come to you that easily and you need to be patient enough. You need to be persistent in order to achieve it. I learnt it at a very young age and as I am the younger kid I did not feel that there was the need to be always patient enough but it is needed especially in the modernized world. It is very difficult to acclimatize but I feel my relationship with my parents being quite cordial played a huge role although it was tough to learn but I learnt it. Afterwards it was easier to deal with things and not just

And after that, I think so after 4 or 5 classes, I know how to swim properly and it is a beautiful experience. According to my point of view, every parent must take their children when they are quite young for a swimming. Swimming is not a sport, it is a full body exercise. It makes you engage, it makes your mind sharper and you feel very nice after the swimming. And you feel it relax your body, it relax your muscles and after that class, I think that the classes of swimming are pretty good.

In my childhood, I have learned many skills, but the one skill that I still enjoy till date is dancing. Dancing is the skill I like the most because it gives me energy, a sudden energy boost whenever I hear a song I like. I just go and dance my heart out and it just makes me feel so refreshed and I just get overjoyed by dancing. So I learned dancing when I was a teenager in my school. I was like every other student, I was very under-confident about showing my skills and I was not so extrovert person, but one day my teacher chose me to be in a group of dance which was going to represent our class on annual day. So I took this task as a responsibility which enlightened the thought of winning in me. So I decided that I will ace it no matter how much improvement it takes me to get. So I improved my confidence skill, my speaking skill, my dancing skill. I worked on hours on my expression and it really helped me a lot. Even after the event, our annual day event, everyone was talking about how good our performance was even though we couldn't win it, but we made so many.

The skill I have learned and developed in my childhood is writing. There is no specific reason that I have developed this skill for this particular reason and all. During my childhood days, I had a habit of writing the list of events that happened in my school days or in my diary. So as I followed this in a regular basis, so I got a habit where I can think as well as write in a faster way. This helped me in my school as well as in my college days as I used to write in a faster way and complete my exams before the time ends. This skill has helped me in many ways as now I am working and I attend lots of meetings in a day. So I will not have time to note the task one by one because I have to follow the meeting as well as I need to know my task. So as I have already practiced writing in my childhood, so now it has become really easy for me to write the list of tasks or whatever thing comes even in exams. Even if the paper is lengthy, I complete it in a fast way and I don't lag in time.

So yeah, I started my classes, I keep on doing my regular classes in the summer, though I was having holidays in my summer, and the teacher named Sara, she used to teach us, she is very angry person, she helped me, but she is very helping nature, but whenever we do mistakes, she used to scold us very badly at that time, and basically yeah, she helped in many ways to make me better, but I used to skip my classes, so she used to get angry on me all the time, and I think in day to day life, I am regretting that thing that I skipped so many classes of English, English lecture, English grammar classes, and it is necessary to learn English language, because it helps us to communicate with other people, it boosts our communication, and whenever we go for abroad studies, it helps us.
