Academic Requirements

The official, original transcripts of all secondary and postsecondary education, along with the results of the last exam, are required of international applicants. Documents that are not in English must have certified translations. All translation-related arrangements must be made directly with the applicant's preferred translation service. SAT or ACT results are not required from international students.

 

English Language Proficiency

English language proficiency is required of international students whose first language is not English. The University of Vermont provides a variety of choices for demonstrating English proficiency, including a minimum iBT TOEFL score of 80 or a minimum IELTS score of 6.5.
