Eligibility

The following criteria will be used for students who are unable to take the ACT or SAT due to COVID-19 closing testing centres: high school grades (minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average) and class rank; American College Test (ACT) (minimum 20 composite ACT) or Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) (minimum 950 composite SAT) scores; for those students who are unable to take the ACT or SAT due to COVID-19 closing testing centres, the following criteria will
A letter of recommendation from a professor;
a written example of past academic work that has been graded;
An interview with a representative from the university's admissions office;

International students must have a TOEFL (iBT) score of at least 61, an IELTS score of at least 6.0, a Pearson Test of English (academic) score of at least 50, or an International Test of English Proficiency (iTEP) score of at least 3.5 to be admitted to The University of Findlay's undergraduate programme. International students who received their secondary and/or post-secondary education in English may petition for an exemption from this requirement. Students who meet these language criteria can enrol in the Intensive English Program (IELP) at The University of Findlay before beginning their academic studies. The TOEFL, IELTS, Pearson Test of English (academic), and/or iTEP requirements are waived if you complete the IELP.

Admission Process

1.Submit an application; it's free!
2.Send your certified high school transcript. Before acceptance or class registration, final transcripts must be obtained and assessed.
3.Pay your $100 registration fee. This completes the process of releasing your resident hall forms and reserving your seat in the class. Until May 1, your deposit is totally refundable.

Accommodation

The university provides on-campus 8 residence halls accommodation with facilities including furnishing, tech support, free tickets to events and movies, 100+ clubs etc. The students can live in residential halls, apartments or Greek housing. The on-campus accommodation expenses, including the meals, would cost approximately USD 4,800 per semester.
