  • The SUNY Geneseo was formed in 1948 as a liberal arts college. It is a part of the State University of New York, the most extensive education system in the U.S. With an affiliation of the Space-grant, the college has received its accreditation from the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. It was initially formed as Geneseo Normal School before becoming a part of SUNY. 
  • At present, SUNY Geneseo is serving more than 4,900 students worldwide. It offers about 50 undergraduate degree programs and nearly 26 minors in graduate programs.
