Basic Requirements

You must meet the following conditions to be eligible for federal financial aid:

  • You must maintain satisfactory academic progress in college or career school.
  • Sign statements on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) stating that you are not in default on a federal student loan or owe money on a federal student grant, and that you will only use federal student aid for educational purposes; 
  • Demonstrate that you are qualified for a college or career school education by having a high school diploma or a recognised equivalent such as a General Educational Development (GED) certificate or completing a high school education programme.

Salus University is fortunate to be in a location with plenty of affordable housing and convenient public transit. Student housing is provided in a range of units conveniently located near both the Elkins Park and Oak Lane campuses. The Office of Student Affairs may help students find housing and/or roommates, as well as give support throughout their transition to the greater Philadelphia area.

Students can also get a roommate match and/or more specific information about a large number of residences in the Elkins Park/Oak Lane area via the Office of Student Affairs. Current students can see this information on MySalus (password protected) and it is updated annually.
