  • The Oregon State University is the largest international public research university in Oregon. Its main campus in Corvallis is spread across 400 acres.
  •  This university is one of the only 3 college-level institutions in the US to obtain the titles of sea-grant, space-grant, and sun grant institutions. The school began offering college-level education in 1865. The university consists of two main campuses- Corvallis and Benda, 11 colleges, 12 experiment stations, and extension programs in 36 different counties. 
  • It offers 200 undergraduate programs and 100 graduate programs. Along with conducting classes in the university, the E-campus offers 70 degrees and programs and over 1300 online classes. The programs opted by most of the students include- anthropology, biology, comparative literature, earth sciences, physics and psychology. 
  • Out of the total students enrolled, 60% of the students are from Oregon. There are innumerable courses offered by the university but the main schools and colleges are- College of Agricultural Sciences, College of Business, College of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences, College of Engineering, College of Forestry, College of Liberal Arts, College of Public Health and Human Sciences. 
  • Tuition fees vary depending on certain criteria like that of academic program, residency campus and student or course level but the fees for most of the courses for the first year is between 27000-31000 USD and the yearly hostel and meal expense is 8800 USD. Once enrolled the students can register for housing.
  •  The university provides on-campus accommodation so that the students get an opportunity to learn more about the campus. First year students live in the residential halls in the campus. The ratio of faculty to students is 1:19, proving that the teachers of the university aim to provide high quality education to all its students.

Public research university Oregon State University (OSU) is situated in Oregon, USA. OSU's ranking declined from 151-200 in the Academic Ranking of World Universities (Shanghai Ranking) from 2016 to 2018 to 201-300 in 2020 and 2021. The ranking of Oregon State fell from 441st in 2018 to 499th in 2021, according to QS (Top Universities). Course Ranking

Since 2018, Oregon State University's position at 201+ in the QS Global MBA ranking has remained constant. Similarly, OSU was maintained by US News between 99 and 131 in 2019 and 2021. (data for 2020 not available). This means that OSU has maintained its performance on the key metrics used by US News and QS to determine MBA and business school rankings, including employability, entrepreneurship, teaching, research, and citations. OSU has been ranked lower by Times Higher Education (THE), from 251-300 to 401-500 in 2021. OSU was ranked by US News from 2018 to 2021 in the bottom 120 spots for UG Business. In the US, business courses at Oregon State are highly well-liked.

In 2019 and 2020, QS (Top Universities) ranked OSU's engineering programmes between 451 and 500. From 2018 to 2021, THE also gave OSU a PG Engineering and Technology ranking between 301 and 400. In its PG Computers ranking, THE has consistently placed OSU between positions 501 and 600 since 2019. This shows that OSU's performance on important ranking factors, including teaching, research, and citation, has remained consistent. Admission requirements

The Graduate Pathway programme at Oregon State University offers overseas students a straight path to a variety of graduate degrees. The programme provides students with the intellectual foundation and necessary language abilities to pursue a Master's degree. To be admitted to this programme, you must have completed a four-year undergraduate degree in an applicable subject with a 2.5 GPA or equivalent overall 70 IBT TOEFL or equivalent test score and have a 2.5 GPA or similar overall 70 iBT TOEFL or comparable test score (some options have higher entry requirements). All students receive academic advising and a study plan tailored to their unique Graduate Pathway programme.
