Johns Hopkins University in Maryland is a private research institute founded in 1876. It has an acceptance rate of 11% and has over 24,000 students enrolled in full-time and part-time programs. Spread out across 9 schools, including Business, Education, Arts & Sciences, Medicine and Nursing.
The university offers more than 260 disciplines for undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, certificate and non-degree programs. Some of the most popular Johns Hopkins University majors are Africana Studies, Biology, Computer Music, Anthropology, Anatomy Education etc.
Johns Hopkins University, though based in Baltimore, has ten campus divisions across three continents. The campuses in Baltimore are located in Homewood, East Baltimore, Harbor East and Peabody, while several satellite campuses are in Montgomery County, Columbia and Laurel, all in Maryland. Moreover, the university also has a campus in Washington, D.C, Italy and China.

Students can join one of the 400 clubs and organizations, 24 varsity sports teams, enjoy the Spring Fair, and participate in over 50 events each year. Placement surveys show that 96% of graduates tend to find employment with lucrative packages.
