Florida University is located in the suburban area of Melbourne, Florida, in the United States. It was established in 1958 and was previously named Brevard Engineering College. Later in 1966, the name was changed to Florida Institute of Technology. It is used to educate the professionals in a space program known as the Kennedy Research Center.
The main campus is located near Orlando—Melbourne International Airport. Its campus area covers around 130 acres of land. About 6000 students enroll at this university to pursue higher education.
