Eastern Washington University, established in 1882, is a public university in Cheney, Washington. The university has a main campus in Cheney and shares the Riverpoint campus with Washington State University. With an acceptance rate of 63.4%, the institution was ranked 52nd among the West Regional Universities.
ESU offers 71 undergraduate, 50 postgraduate and 15 graduate certificate programs in over 100 majors. Health Sciences, Psychology, Biology, an applied doctoral program in Physical Therapy, Fine Arts, Business Analytics, Economics, Journalism, and Social Work Programs are popular majors.
Applications through the official website are to be filled for intake into the Fall and Spring semesters by undergraduates and postgraduates with an application fee of 60 USD and 75 USD, respectively. Academic transcripts, LORs, and scores of TOEFL, SAT, ACT, etc., are also to be submitted.
EWU organizes a Science and Technology Fair, a Health Sciences Career Fair, and a FUSE Career Fair to assist students with placements. Around 91% of graduates are employed within two years of graduation, with an annual average salary of 43,100 USD.
On-campus accommodation in eight residence halls and apartment-style housing options are available in single, double, and triple occupancy rooms.
