Candidates from outside the United States who intend to apply to Eastern Oregon University must show proof of English competence. EOU provides students with a variety of professional services, including online job postings, individual coaching, corporate connect events, and more. Within two years of graduation, 84 percent of students are employed, with an average annual salary of 41,200 USD.

EOU has three on-campus residence halls as well as Eocene Courts, which provides apartment-style accommodation for upperclassmen. Single, double, and triple occupancy rooms are offered in the resident halls, which are superior to suite-style living.

In the resident halls, bedrooms are equipped with a bed, a dresser, a wardrobe, a desk, and a chair. A couch, easy chair, and a TV stand are available in the communal living room. A compact kitchenette with a full-size refrigerator and microwave is also provided.
A game area with table tennis tables, pool tables, television sets, and other shared amenities, as well as a laundry room and a media room, are available in the residence halls. For convenience, students' mail is delivered to the hall. Wi-Fi is available in the general spaces as well as the residence halls.
Students should bring their own bed linen, toiletries, office materials, and clothing, among other things.
