Applicants for undergraduate admissions must have completed a high school diploma with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in the US equivalent. All other programmes at Duquesne require students to have acceptable SAT and/or ACT scores, with the exception of a few majors that provide test-optional admission. A combination score of 1130 on the SAT and 23 on the ACT is considered satisfactory.
The Class 12 Board Examination or the International Baccalaureate diploma must be completed by students. In general, applicants should have received an overall grade in relevant qualifying exams that is similar to a B in the US system.
The eligibility requirements for graduate programmes differ from one school to the next. In general, a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale in the United States is expected. Depending on the programme to which students apply, GMAT or GRE scores are also necessary.
International students from non-English-speaking countries, such as India, must demonstrate their language competency using one of the standardised English exam scores listed below:
Accepted English Exams | Minimum Undergraduate Score Requirement | Minimum Graduate Score Requirement |

IELTS Academic | 6.0 | 6.5 |
Duolingo English Test (DET) | 95 | 105 |

I've been attending Duquesne University for almost 2 years now and I absolutely love it! The college atmosphere is welcoming and inclusive, the campus is beautiful, the faculty are wonderful (with a 90% placement rate!), the food is amazing, on campus housing is affordable and there are so many opportunities for internships.

I would love to tell you more about Duquesne because there is so much I could list about this university. However, for starters the campus is absolutely beautiful. The courtyards are lined with ivy and there's always a lot of people just chilling in the grass. When you arrive on campus you will be amazed by all the friendly people who are happy to see.

I attended Duquesne University for one semester and would recommend it to anyone looking for a school that has affordable tuition rates, a friendly atmosphere, and is located in the center of Pittsburgh.
