  • The Oregon State University is the largest international public research university in Oregon. Its main campus in Corvallis is spread across 400 acres.
  •  This university is one of the only 3 college-level institutions in the US to obtain the titles of sea-grant, space-grant, and sun grant institutions. The school began offering college-level education in 1865. The university consists of two main campuses- Corvallis and Benda, 11 colleges, 12 experiment stations, and extension programs in 36 different counties. 
  • It offers 200 undergraduate programs and 100 graduate programs. Along with conducting classes in the university, the E-campus offers 70 degrees and programs and over 1300 online classes. The programs opted by most of the students include- anthropology, biology, comparative literature, earth sciences, physics and psychology. 
  • Out of the total students enrolled, 60% of the students are from Oregon. There are innumerable courses offered by the university but the main schools and colleges are- College of Agricultural Sciences, College of Business, College of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences, College of Engineering, College of Forestry, College of Liberal Arts, College of Public Health and Human Sciences. 
  • Tuition fees vary depending on certain criteria like that of academic program, residency campus and student or course level but the fees for most of the courses for the first year is between 27000-31000 USD and the yearly hostel and meal expense is 8800 USD. Once enrolled the students can register for housing.
  •  The university provides on-campus accommodation so that the students get an opportunity to learn more about the campus. First year students live in the residential halls in the campus. The ratio of faculty to students is 1:19, proving that the teachers of the university aim to provide high quality education to all its students.
