  • The University of Leeds was established in 1904 as part of the Russell Group of universities, a public research university in West Yorkshire. 
  • The student community of over 39,000 is comprised of 27,000 undergraduates and 11,000 postgraduates (36,000 full-time and 2,000 part-time students). 
  • The University of Leeds campus spans over 100 acres and houses four libraries; the Laidlaw Library, Brotherton Library, Health Sciences Library, and Edward Boyle Library. Student housing is available for undergraduates and postgraduates. They can live in flats, suites, and studios, all fully equipped and near the campus. Some on-campus residences are Lupton Residences, Central Village, Grayson Heights, and Lyddon Hall. The 300+ student clubs and organizations allow students to engage in extracurricular activities. At the same time, The Edge sports center is equipped with courts, a swimming pool, and a climbing wall for physical activity. There are numerous eating joints on and around campus, including the Refectory, Hugo, and Common Ground.
  • International students can pursue degrees such as BA, BSc, MA, MBA, and LLM in Environment and Business, Classical Civilization, Fashion Marketing, International Business Law, and Gender Studies.
  • The estimated undergraduate fees for UK and non-UK EU students are GBP 9,250, while the cost for international students depends upon the course taken. Financial aid for UK/EU and international students is available through scholarships, loans, and bursaries in Leeds Financial Support, Cash Awards, Means-tested Scholarships, and plus Programme.
