The London School of Economics and Political Science is a public research university located in London, England. The university was founded in 1895 and has since gone on to become an iconic institution in the field of economics, law and social sciences. The university has 27 faculties offering 41 undergraduate courses and 191 graduate courses. The university is a member institution of the University of London, awarding degrees of the same before issuing its own degrees from 2008.
