  • Established in 1960, Laurentian University is a bilingual public institute in Ontario, Canada, with over 9,000 students across undergraduate and graduate degree programs. Students can pursue degrees like BA, B. Ed, BBA, MA, MSc, MBA, Ph.D., etc., in disciplines like Biology, Sports Administration, Social Work, and Psychology. Seven faculties offer courses in English and French like the Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Medicine and Management. 
  • Those who wish to work on their English and French language skills can earn a certificate of bilingualism. Laurentian Online allows students to pursue 27-degree programs and 540 certificate courses, professional development courses, and pathway courses. Criminology, Gerontology, Fingerprint Detection, Analysis, and Business Administration are some examples. The study abroad program enables students from abroad to study at LU while allowing LU students to complete part of the degree program overseas.
  •  Over 1,600 students reside on-campus; accommodation (with dining services) is available in multi-bedroom apartments and single/double rooms at the Mature Student Residence, University College Residence, East and West Residences, etc.
  • There are nine recreational facilities on campus, such as the Field House Gym, Ben Avery Gym, tennis court, outdoor track, etc. 94% of LU students find employment within six months of graduating. Different student associations run multiple clubs and societies like First Love, Law at Laurentian, and Karate.
