  • Established in 1960, Laurentian University is a bilingual public institute in Ontario, Canada, with over 9,000 students across undergraduate and graduate degree programs. Students can pursue degrees like BA, B. Ed, BBA, MA, MSc, MBA, Ph.D., etc., in disciplines like Biology, Sports Administration, Social Work, and Psychology. Seven faculties offer courses in English and French like the Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Medicine and Management.

Laurentian Online allows students to pursue 27-degree programs and 540 certificate courses, professional development courses, and pathway courses. Different student associations run multiple clubs and societies like First Love, Law at Laurentian, and Karate.

Admission Process

How To Apply?


Step 1: Pick a programme and make sure you meet all of its requirements.

Step 2: Where Can International Students Apply?

For full-time study, you will utilise the Online International Application Form.

The University will send you an email with your Laurentian student number and additional information after they accept your application via the Online Application Form.

Step 3: Application and Document Submission Deadlines

Open Enrollment Programs Begin in September

Application Deadline: April 15th

The deadline for submitting documents is May 1st.

What must be completed by the document's due date?

  • Academic Transcripts in Their Entirety (for students not currently registered in an Ontario high school)
  • The results of the English language test (if applicable)
  • Documents to back up your claim (as required by the program)

How to send papers in?

The supporting documents must be in PDF format to be uploaded successfully to the myLaurentian portal at my.laurentian.ca. Google Chrome or Firefox are the finest browsers to use for uploading. Each file can't be bigger than 10 MB. Please note that duplicate copies of uploaded documents do not need to be mailed to the institution.


5. After You've Submitted Your Application

Within two weeks of submitting your application, you will receive an acknowledgement email with details on how to access the myLaurentian Portal


6. Accept Your Admission Offer
Congratulations! You are cordially invited to join the Laurentian Community. For your convenience, your decision letter will be stored in the Documents folder on my.laurentian.ca. To accept your offer, go to your myLaurentian Portal and follow the instructions.

If you have applied through the OUAC website, you will be transferred to the OUAC website to accept your offer. If you apply through other means, you will have the option to accept your offer through the myLaurentian Portal.

The size, style, shape, and furnishings of each building vary, and even within the same complex, your room may not look exactly like that of your neighbors. That said, you'll have the freedom to personalize it — that's part of the appeal of living alone!
