The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire is a place I would highly recommend to anyone. This is a university that believes in diversity and allows students to have their voice heard at every level. The housing selection was very helpful because the campus offered on campus housing, off campus housing, and sometimes student housing was nearby.

The UWEC campus is beautiful, and the staff is very welcoming. The admissions process was quick and painless, with very responsive staff. I didn't feel like they were being pushy or overly aggressive in their sales tactics to make me sign up for a specific major. The campus is also diverse in many ways.

Programs such as the Helene Fuld College of Nursing provide amazing learning opportunities and have a placement rate over 100%--I know because I got an offer to work in a hospital right after graduation.
