  • North Georgia University is a public senior military college in Georgia, United States. It is one of the six military colleges in the United States, offering the US Army Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program for those wishing to join the military. The University was founded in 1873 as the North Georgia Agricultural College. The University of North Georgia attained its current status after the conglomeration of North Georgia College and State University and Gainesville State College in 2013, making it the sixth-largest public University in the state.
