  • The University of New Mexico is among the top public universities in Albuquerque, United States, established in 1889. It has been recognized internationally for leadership in research, teaching, and student satisfaction, focusing on interactive learning. 
  • The popular majors at the University of New Mexico are Business, Biology, Psychology, Nursing, Humanities and Arts, and Criminal Justice. The university offers over 94 bachelor's, 71 Master's, and 37 Doctoral degrees. Moreover, the university also has several online degree course programs. The University of New Mexico has branch campuses in Taos, Gallup, Los Alamos, and Valencia. It is spread across 800 acres and boasts a Pueblo Revival architectural theme. 
  • The campus is divided into three segments- Central, North, and South. The North Campus consists of law and medical schools and is situated on the north side of the central campus. The south campus of the university has athletic facilities. The University of New Mexico's NCAA Division I program offers 16 sports and special teams. It also has student government offices, food courts, event facilities, movie theatres, organization offices, and recreational areas. 
  • In addition, the university has eight residence halls and 15 living-learning communities for student accommodation facilities. Student Housing facilities include three types of residence hall living: Traditional, Apartment style, and Suite style. 
  • The yearly hostel and meal expenses would be around CAD 8,397. Tuition fees range between CAD 14,982 to 32,934 per year for different courses and programs.
