Eligibility

International students must present a variety of transcripts, certificates, and English language scores in order to be admitted. All transcripts and documentation must be written in the English language. If not, pupils should have them translated by a licenced officer.

The following are the requirements for international students.

Requirements for Undergraduate Admission:

  • A high school diploma from a recognised college or school is required of all students.
  • In secondary school, a grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale is required.
  • Evidence-based Reading + Math requires a SAT score of 1260.
  • A 26 on the ACT is required.

Undergraduate students must meet the following English language requirements:

  • A TOEFL iBT score of 70 or above is required.
  • IELTS 6.0 or above is required.
  • DET 100 or greater
  • SAT score of 550 or higher

Requirements for Graduate Admission:

  • Students must hold a bachelor's degree from a recognised university that is equivalent to a US bachelor's degree.
  • A bachelor's degree must be completed in three or four years.
  • For admission to a graduate school, a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale is necessary.
  • For some programmes, the GRE is necessary.

Graduate students must meet the following English language requirements:

  • A TOEFL iBT score of 79 or above is required.
  • 6.5 or higher on the IELTS
  • MELAB 77 or greater
  • Level 6 of the ALCP

International students can apply to the university as undergraduate or graduate students using the university's admission site. The step-by-step process to apply to the university is as follows:

Step 1: Go to futurevandals.uidaho.edu/apply/ and fill out the application.
Step 2: If you're a first-time user, create an account. Log in and continue if you already have an account.
Step 3: Enter your personal data, such as your name, gender, contact information, permanent residence, nationality, and so on.
Step 4: Fill in your educational background, programme details, work history, test results, passport information, and so forth. All relevant papers, such as resumes, letters of recommendation, and transcripts, should be uploaded.
Step 5: Students can review and submit the application after filling out all of the relevant fields and information. Students can go back to the relevant page and fill in all the missing fields shown in red if they forgot to include something.

After that, you must wait for the results.
