Established in 1819, the University of Cincinnati is a public research university in Ohio. The second-largest institution in the state, the University of Cincinnati (UC) offers more than 300 majors, holding a rank in the top 150 universities in the US by the US news since 2019. With an annual enrolment of more than 46,000, UC offers 414-degree programs, maintaining a student-teacher ratio of 17:1. It has 6,000 permanent and part-time faculty members to run the institution. The university is spread across 476 acres and has four campuses - the main campus, Clifton Heights medical campus, and Blue Ash and Clermont branch campuses. Students hail from more than 50 states and 114 countries to study in 14 different colleges like health science, applied science, business, music, designing, architecture, and others. They also offer UC online courses with 80 graduate, undergraduate, and certificate courses, with the same accreditation as that of campus. Earning prominence in the world as a pioneer in research and development, UC claims to have a regional economic impact of $4.2 billion. The university practices a cooperative education model, which was discovered by Herman Schneider, a dean of the university in the 1900s. It has 13 distinctive libraries catering 4.6 million volumes and 1.8 million ebooks to its 1.8 million annual visitors. UCäó»s university housing facility includes residential halls for more than 80% of the freshman students along with more than 300 campus organizations and activities to get involved. Princeton Reviews has named the University of Cincinnati as a Green College due to its conscious sustainability approach.

Your application is accepted by UC through the Common Application portal. If you don't meet the English language requirements, you can apply through the ACE Program Application or the International Conditional Application.

On Campus Accommodation

All students, both undergraduate and graduate, have access to university housing.
UG students live in one of the ten residence halls, while PG students live in Bellevue Gardens University's residence halls. The university also offers reasonable meal plans to just those students who live in residence halls.

The average monthly rent for a one-bedroom apartment is USD 700-800, for a two-bedroom apartment is USD 900-1000, for a three-bedroom apartment is USD 950-1050, and for a four-bedroom apartment is USD 750-850.
