  • Established in 1846, the University at Buffalo (UB) is also regarded as the State University of New York (SUNY) and holds 88 positions in the 2021 ranking of Best Colleges in National University. 
  • Founded by U.S. president Millard Fillmore, UB is a member of the prestigious Association of American Universities, located in Buffalo, New York. It has an undergraduate enrollment for more than 21,000 students and 10,000 masters degree enrollment and offers more than 140 undergraduate, 55 combined degrees, 220 masters, and 95 doctoral programs.
  •  It has three extensive campuses: the North Campus in Amherst, the South Campus in the University Heights neighborhood, and the Downtown campus. As the most comprehensive campus amongst the 64-campus State University of New York (SUNY) systems, UB has 13 colleges and schools, spread across an area of 1,350 acres.
  •  This flagship institution is open to dental science, engineering and applied science, education, management, nursing, public health, social work, and others, maintaining a 14:1 student to faculty ratio. It is the only university in the SUNY systems to provide an accredited master of architecture degree in architecture and planning.
